The Provider operates Bosch Connectors exclusively for commercial customers and does not accept consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB as customers.
§ 1 Offer of Services and Availability
- Bosch Connectors is a platform with various services via which you as User can, among other things, access information and make a product selection for later transfer into a purchase order with a distributor.
- The services provided include, but are not limited to, providing data, articles, pictures, drawings, audio and video documents, information and other content (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Content”) relating to connectors. In addition, you can compile a selection of our products in a cart and transfer this information on to a distributor in order to purchase these products directly from this distributor.
- We reserve the right to change or enhance the services offered on and to limit the time period for the use of the services provided at our discretion. As User you have no right to certain services or parts thereof being kept up.
- You will have to register to use the services. Registration for the use of is free of charge.
- If a service is free of charge, we do not warrant uninterrupted use. We do not warrant that the access to or use of will not be interrupted or impaired by maintenance work, enhancements or other malfunctions which can, if applicable, also lead to loss of data. We make our best effort to provide the services of free from interruptions. Technical malfunctions (e.g. interruption in the electricity supply, hardware and software errors, technical problems in the data lines) can, however, give rise to temporary restrictions or interruptions. For services subject to charge we warrant an average annual availability of 95.0% in our area of responsibility. Daily maintenance windows of , which are between 0:00 and 4:00 hours (CET/MEZ), are not included in this calculation of availability.
- The Provider is entitled to provide services through third parties (including affiliated group companies of the Provider) as subcontractors.
§ 2 Registration on Bosch Connectors
- You warrant that information you provide during registration (in particular contact data) or when using the services provided on , is complete and accurate. If the information changes during the course of your use relationship, you must immediately correct it in your personal settings at . If incorrect information should give rise to costs, you are obliged to pay for such costs.
- By submitting your registration information you make us an offer to enter into a use relationship on the basis of these Terms and Conditions of Use. The decision to accept this offer shall be at our discretion. If your registration is not confirmed by email to the email address you provided within a reasonable period of time, you are no longer bound by your offer. Upon receipt of the email confirmation, we enter into a binding agreement and we shall activate the access to the services. With effect from activation you have the right to use Bosch Connectors only as permitted in these Terms and Conditions of Use. In order to do so you must first activate it by clicking on the link provided in the email.
- You may only register on once. Your registration, this agreement, the user account as well as your access data are nontransferable. As a rule we do not verify your identity or information provided by you during registration. Therefore, we do not warrant that user accounts are held by the person matching the information provided.
§ 3 Responsibility for Access Data
You must keep your access data and the password secret and may not disclose them to unauthorized third parties in any event.
In addition, you are also responsible for ensuring that your access to Bosch Connectors and the use of the services made available on Bosch Connectors is only carried out by you and/or persons authorized by you. If there are suspicions that unauthorized third parties have obtained or will obtain your login details, you must notify us immediately.
Please note: You are fully responsible for every use and/or any other activity on Bosch Connectors effected using your access data.
§ 4 Blocking Access
At the discretion of the Provider, the Provider can temporarily or permanently block your access to Bosch Connectors as a whole or to individual part areas if there are concrete grounds to suspect that you are violating or have violated these Terms and Conditions of Use and/or applicable law or if we have any other justified interest in blocking it. When the decision is made on blocking access, your justified interests shall be taken into adequate consideration. If, despite having been notified, you repeatedly violate these Terms and Conditions of Use, we reserve the right to permanently block your access and to exclude you from any future participation in Bosch Connectors.
You will be notified by e-mail if your access authorization is permanently blocked.
In the event of a temporary block, after expiry of the blocking period or after the reason for blocking has been definitively eliminated, the access authorization will be reactivated and you will be notified of this by e-mail. Access authorization that has been permanently blocked cannot be restored.
§ 5 Termination of Use
You may terminate access to services which are free of charge at any time by navigating to "my account" in your user administration section and selecting "delete user account" and completing the process by clicking confirm.. We reserve the right to terminate your access to specific or all services we provide free of charge, with a notice of fourteen (14) calendar days.
In the event of the full termination of your Bosch Connectors access, we are entitled to irretrievably delete all data created in the context of your use relationship Bosch Connectors 30 days after the effective date of the termination and any legal retention periods. Data protection provisions have precedence with respect to personal data and these may also provide for shorter terms for the deletion of data.
§ 6 Permitted Use, Rules of Conduct, Monitoring of Usage Activities
Your access authorization is limited to access to and to the use of the services provided at within the framework of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions of use.
You are responsible for ensuring the necessary technical requirements that fall within your area of responsibility (in particular, hardware, web browser and Internet access). We are under no obligation to provide advice in this respect. You must not seek to overload or otherwise interfere with the operation of Bosch Connectors. If you should become aware of any illegal, abusive, or other unauthorized use of Bosch Connectors, you can contact us at https://www.bosch-connectors.com/de/contact-us.
We point out that use activities in the scope permitted by the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz (TMG)) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz - BDSG) can be monitored and there can be a statutory obligation for us to do so. This also includes, if applicable, logging IP connection data and the course of conversations and the evaluation thereof if there is any concrete suspicion of a violation against the present Terms and Conditions of Use and Participation and/or in the event of concrete suspicion of any other unlawful act or criminal offence having been committed.
§ 7 Protection of Content, Right of Use, Responsibility for Third Party Content
The Content available at is protected by copyright, trademark and competition law or by means of other protective rights and is owned by us or by third parties which have made the respective Content available to us. The compilation of the Content on is also protected as such by copyright. You may only use this Content in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Use and within the framework of .
You are only authorized to download Content (“Download”) and print out Content if there is a Download or print functionality available at (e.g. by using a Download button). We grant you a permanent, non-exclusive right to use the Content you duly Download from in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Use.
The Content available at is partially provided by us and partially provided by distributors or other third parties (hereinafter: “Third Party Content”).
We do not conduct any examination of Third Party Content to verify whether it is complete, accurate or lawful and do not therefore assume any liability, responsibility or provide any warranty whatsoever for the completeness, correctness or legality of the Third Party Content or for its being up to date. This applies in particular with regard to the quality of the Third Party Content and the suitability thereof for a specific purpose and with regard to all other details concerning availability, price or other information in connection with a purchase order placed with a distributor.
§ 8 Data Protection
One of the quality requirements of Robert Bosch is to handle your personal data (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”) responsibly. For details, please observe our data protection notice.
§ 9 Limitation of Liability
For services that are free of charge, our liability is limited to damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct (Section 521 German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch)). The aforementioned limitation does not apply to damages related to death, personal injury, or damages to health, in case of guarantees or claims under the Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).
Insofar as our liability is excluded or limited under these Terms and Conditions, this shall also apply to the liability of our corporate bodies and of persons employed by us in performance of our obligation (Erfüllungsgehilfen) and of vicarious agents (Verrichtungsgehilfen), in particular of our employees.
§ 10 Changes to these Terms and Conditions of Use
Bosch Connectors reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time, also with effect within existing contractual relationships. You shall be notified of any such amendments by email at least 30 calendar days prior to the planned effective date of such changes. If you do not object to them within 30 days after receipt of the notification and continue to use the services also after expiry of the time limit for the objection, the changes shall be deemed to have been duly agreed with effect from the date of expiry of the time limit. If you do object, the use relationship shall continue subject to the previous Terms and Conditions of Use. In the event of your objecting we reserve the right to terminate the use relationship in accordance with § 5. You will be advised of your right of objection and the consequences thereof in the change notification.
§ 11 Changes to Services
We reserve the right to change or discontinue services provided free of charge at Bosch Connectors at any time, to make available new services free of charge or introduce fees for new or existing services. We shall take your legitimate interests into consideration.
Detailed information about us as the Provider is available on our web site Bosch Connectors under “Imprint/Company Information” (called “Impressum” on the German web site).
This agreement shall be governed by German law excluding German international private law and the UN Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
If you are an entrepreneur, solely the courts with jurisdiction at the registered office of the Provider shall have jurisdiction and venue. We also have the right to file suit against you at your registered office at our discretion.
Operational disruptions caused by force majeure or other unavoidable events beyond Bosch's control,
which could not be averted with reasonable effort, and
which could not have been foreseen even when exercising with extreme care, and
If one of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Use should be or become ineffective, this shall not affect the effectiveness of the remaining provisions hereof. In such a case the parties are obliged to collaborate in creating provisions by means of which a legally-effective result can be achieved approximating most closely that of the ineffective provision in economic terms. This shall also apply accordingly to closing any contractual gaps.

4. Processing of personal data
4.1 Categories of data being processed
The following categories of data are processed:
• Communication data (e.g. name, telephone, e-mail, address, IP address)
• Product selection on a wish list
Personal data consists of all information related to an identified or identifiable natural person, this includes, e.g. names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, contractual master data, which is an expression of a person's identity.
We collect, process and use personal data only when there is either a statutory legal basis to do so or if you have given your consent to the processing or use of personal data concerning this matter, e.g. by means of registration.
4.3 Processing purposes and legal bases
We, as well as the service providers commissioned by us, process your personal data for the following purposes:

4.5 Log files
Each time you use the internet, your browser is transmitting certain information which we store in so-called log files.
We save log files for a short period of time to determine service disruptions and for security reasons (e.g., to investigate attack attempts) and delete them afterwards. Log files which need to be maintained for evidence purposes are excluded from deletion until the respective incident is resolved and may, on a case-by-case basis, be passed on to investigating authorities.
In log files, in particular the following information is saved:

4.7 Data transfer
4.7.1 Data transfer to other controllers
Principally, your personal data is forwarded to other controllers only if required for the fulfillment of a contractual obligation, or if we ourselves, or a third party, have a legitimate interest in the data transfer, or if you have given your consent. Particulars on the legal bases can be found in the section 'Processing purposes and legal bases'. Third parties may also be other companies of the Bosch group. When data is transferred to third parties based on a justified interest, this is explained in this data protection notice.
Additionally, data may be transferred to other controllers when we are obliged to do so due to statutory regulations or enforceable administrative or judicial orders.
4.7.2 Service providers (general)
We involve external service providers with tasks such as sales and marketing services, contract management, payment handling, programming, data hosting and hotline services. We have chosen those service providers carefully and monitor them on a regular basis, especially regarding their diligent handling of and protection of the data that they store. All service providers are obliged to maintain confidentiality and to comply to the statutory provisions. Service providers may also be other Bosch group companies.
4.7.3 Transfer to recipients outside the EEA
We might transfer personal data to recipients located outside the EEA into so-called third countries.
In such cases, prior to the transfer we ensure that either the data recipient provides an appropriate level of data protection (e.g. due to a decision of adequacy by the European Commission for the respective country or due to the agreement based on so-called EU model clauses with the recipient) or that you have consented to the transfer."

4.7.4 Duration of storage; retention periods
Principally, we store your data for as long as it is necessary to render our online offers and connected services or for as long as we have a justified interest in storing the data (e.g. we might still have a justified interest in postal mail marketing after fulfillment of our contractual obligations). In all other cases we delete your personal data with the exception of data we are obliged to store for the fulfillment of legal obligations.
5. Cookie usage
Cookies are small text files that are saved on your computer when an Online Offer is accessed. In case you access this Online Offer another time, your browser sends the cookies' content back to the respective seller and, thus, allows the re-identification of the terminal device. Right to information and access:

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. This is the regional Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Wuerttemberg.
